TS20 Cutting for Metals, Plastics and Technical Materials

A versatile tool for precise cuts in metal, plastic, wood, fibreglass and rubber.

The TS20 is a versatile cutting tool we use when the material is not concrete. A single job brings steel sections to trim, PVC pipe crossing an opening, boards to fit on site and fibreglass panels to size. The TS20 handles that work with a clean cut and no material deformation.

GPC Construcciones uses it mainly in industrial plants and remodelling, where concrete, steel and technical materials meet. The blade changes with the material and the criterion stays the same: cut by controlled abrasion, do not tear.

Questions about ts20 cutting

For concrete we use floor saws, wall saws or diamond wire, which are the right tools. The TS20 covers the other materials found on the same job.

Very few, and they are dressed on the spot. The cut does not heat the piece to the point of distortion, which is what happens with oxy-fuel on thin sections.

The site is assessed first. In classified areas we use spark-free methods or work under a hot-work permit with a fire watch.
